How The Bachelor Bracket Works
This guide gives the in-depth scoop on the gameplay.
After creating an account, you head over to the Leagues page to choose or create a league to join.
Once you join a league, create a bracket that outlines your picks for the entire season.
You can edit your bracket at any time up until the league administrator locks your league's bracket. Note: You will usually have up until the second episode airs to do this. However, if you have questions about when this occurs, message your league administrator.
The idea is that you watch the premier episode of the season to get a feel for each contestant and how you think they will fare. You can also read our Blog for some extra insight and analysis, as well as the Contestant Corner which breaks down each contestant.
Once all your picks are made and the league brackets have been locked, the season and game is officially on!
Each week, your bracket will be scored against the Master Bracket, relfecting how accurate your predictions were. The league rankings will be updated to reflect the points you've earned and the contestants who have been elliminated. You can then see how you're doing compared to the rest of those in your league. We'll even show you how many projected points it is possible for you to earn.
League points and rounds are customizable, but for those players who joined a Desiree Default League where the site is the administrator, the picks and points per round breaks down as follows:
| Round # | # of Picks | # of Points |
| Bachelorette Round #1 | 19 | 2 |
| Bachelorette Round #2 | 16 | 3 |
| Bachelorette Round #3 | 13 | 4 |
| Bachelorette Round #4 | 11 | 5 |
| Bachelorette Round #5 | 8 | 7 |
| Bachelorette Round #6 | 6 | 11 |
| Bachelorette Round #7 | 4 | 15 |
| Bachelorette Round #8 | 3 | 20 |
| Bachelorette Round #9 | 2 | 25 |
